Grupo La Musa: the digital infrastructure behind seven restaurants

We built a custom WordPress platform that enables centralized management of seven restaurants, with a smart daily menu system, optimized booking funnel, and independent content management per venue.

WordPress CMS Hospitality Multi-brand Bookings

The Challenge

Grupo La Musa has operated since 1996 in Madrid with seven distinct gastronomic concepts: Musa Malasaña, Musa Latina, Ojalá Pool Bar, Ojalá Beach Bar, Sound Baths, Limbo, and The Down Stairs. Each venue has its own identity, menu, and audience.

The group needed a technical platform capable of centrally managing all their restaurants: content, daily menus that change every day, integration with booking systems, and individual pages with each venue's own information. All built on WordPress, with the flexibility for the internal team to update content without depending on developers.

The goal: build a robust digital infrastructure that converts web traffic into real bookings, reducing friction between discovering a restaurant and booking a table.

WordPress Platform and Booking Funnel

We developed a custom WordPress platform with a Custom Post Types and taxonomy system that allows managing each restaurant as an independent entity with its own page, menu, gallery, and schedule, all from a single admin panel.

The booking funnel was integrated at every point of the website so users can book a table in three steps, from any page and on any device.

Smart Daily Menus

Daily menu management system that allows each restaurant's team to update daily dishes from the WordPress panel. The menu is automatically published on the corresponding restaurant's page.

Integrated Booking Funnel

Booking system integration throughout the website: main navigation, restaurant pages, and footer. Process optimized in three steps with restaurant selection, date/time, and confirmation.

Dynamic Restaurant Pages

Each restaurant has its own landing page with menu, gallery, location, hours, and direct booking access. All manageable from WordPress without technical intervention.

Performance Optimization

Implementation of lazy loading, image optimization, and advanced caching to ensure fast load times despite the volume of multimedia content across all seven restaurants.

Scalable Multi-brand Architecture

We built the WordPress architecture with scalability as a fundamental premise. The custom plugin and component system allows adding a new restaurant to the digital ecosystem without additional development: it's configured from the panel and automatically inherits the structure, booking funnel, and features.

The platform centralizes the group's technical management while preserving each brand's individual identity, allowing each restaurant to have its own personality within a unified system.

Custom Restaurant Plugin

Development of a custom WordPress plugin with Custom Post Types, taxonomies, and advanced fields that manages all the restaurant, menu, and group logic.

Unified Admin Panel

A single panel from which the team manages all seven restaurants: content, daily menus, schedules, events, and gallery, without requiring technical knowledge.

Dynamic Templates per Venue

Template system that automatically adapts the visual style to each restaurant while maintaining group consistency. Colors, typography, and components are configured per venue.

Ready to Grow

The architecture supports incorporating new gastronomic concepts without breaking the experience or requiring development from scratch: create the restaurant in the panel and the system does the rest.

Result

Grupo La Musa has a WordPress platform that functions as the digital operations center for their seven restaurants. The team manages content, daily menus, and bookings autonomously from a single admin panel.

The integrated booking funnel has reduced conversion friction, allowing users to book a table in three steps from any point on the website and on any device.

The modular architecture has proven its scalability: incorporating new venues into the digital ecosystem requires no additional development, with the new restaurant configured directly from the admin panel.
